Hazmat suits are used by the person who comes in contact with hazardous materials. This is an essential one for firefighters, also for researches when it is vital to protect them from airborne chemicals, and also for those who do the work of cleaning the contaminated vessels. The material which creates problem for people may be biological, chemical or radioactive substances. The hazmat suits are classified into four levels like A, B, C, D based on the capacity to withstand against the dangerous materials. Level A has the best capacity which is vapor tight in nature and provides best protection against chemicals which comes in direct contact or air borne. Level B is non vapor tight which is inferior in function compared to first one. Gas detectors are used to find the leakage of gases in a particular arena which might have the risk of catching fire. The basic concept behind these electro chemical gas sensors is that the gases undergo oxidation or reduction if moving to different environment.
